Care Ministries
For those who are able to help by being present with the suffering or enjoy behind the scenes work that meets the practical needs of the congregation.
The Care Ministries Team meets a variety of intermittent needs from the church body.

Caring Heart Ministry:
Contact Ken and Pat Grice for more information or to begin the process of becoming a Caring Heart Caregiver and register for training.
- One to one Christ centered care to people in the congregation and the community experiencing life difficulties. A basis of the program is: Galatians 6:2: “Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ”.
- A Caring Heart Caregiver is a Grace Community Church member, trained by a Caring Heart Ministry Leader to offer care and support to people who are hurting to provide spiritual and emotional support. A Caring Heart Caregiver has one Care Receiver at a time; meeting once a week for one hour. The relationship with the Care Receiver lasts as long as the need persists.

Due to the nature of these needs, we ask that those who wish to serve with a Care Ministries Team maintain confidentiality well and follow up in a timely manner.

- Provide meals for those in need due to hospitalization, welcoming a new baby, and the like.
- Our Helps Team consists of people at Grace who are handy and could help those who occasionally need something fixed, cleaned, or repaired.
