How our Team is preparing
Prayer: Over the summer we have gathered together with our families to get to know each other and to pray. Our dependence is on the Lord to equip us for the trip and to provide for all our foreseen and unforeseen needs.
Learning: Our team has been studying what it means to grow our cultural intelligence, how to serve others in a healthy way and how to understand the gospel within the context of three main worldviews (fear/power; guilt/innocence; shame/honor)

Learn about serving
We endeavor to send teams yearly. These trips will be announced at least 6 months ahead of time to give folks the opportunity to sign up. Each team will be prepared with at minimum 2 training meetings and have assigned homework so everyone is equipped well to serve in a healthy way.
Trip Goal: God’s Glory, other’s good, our growth.
Trip Purpose: To support the local staff in organizing and distributing food. Casa Tabito partners with the local mayor and church to provide families with needed food, delivering up to 20,000 pounds of corn, rice, beans, and dry goods. This trip is labor-intensive, involving heavy lifting and walking on unstable ground for mid-range distances in the heat. The local staff is the face of these deliveries and God receives the glory.
The 2025 Trip is currently full. However you are welcome to download the Trip Packet and Application below and submit it for consideration on future trips. Direct any questions to missions@gracecomm.org
