It is never easy to have our sin pointed out, but there is a difference between feeling sorry for being found out and agreeing to wrongdoing - having our sorrow produce repentance. Paul's first letter to the Corinthian church included confrontation of sin. Though he is sorry to have caused them grief, he rejoices in the outcome of changed hearts that resulted.
